DirTree.pl does not take a config file:

http://dev.swish-e.org/browser/swish-e/trunk/prog-bin/DirTree.pl.in

It's in the prog-bin directory of the distribution and installed right 
next to spider.pl, iirc.

You can read the man page with:

  % DirTree.pl -man
