Re: [swish-e] SWISH-E in Windows 2000 and IIS 5.0

Thanks, David:

I saw $strSearchEngine and $arySearchSiteIndices and they are OK, they are
working very good in Windows 2003 and Windows XP.

The command line (C:/SWISH-E/bin/swish-e.exe -m 25 -f
C:/SWISH-E/bin/idx.infotext -w lima) works Ok in DOS. The problem is in the
web. Do you can help me? I think that is a thing special with Windows 2000
and IIS 5.0. I gave all permissions to the files cmd.exe and swish-e.exe. Is
the command exec of PHP?

Thanks very much again,

That error means it failed to execute swish-e.exe. That could be for a
variety of reasons. Unfortunately, that script doesn't do much error
checking. And, well, I wrote the script 11 years ago. So perhaps its a bit

Check the following in your search.conf:
    Path to swish-e.exe:

    Array of swish-e index files:

Also, you can increase $debug to 4 and it will print some extra debugging
information. For example, it prints the command line before executing it.
You can try running that command line yourself and see if it gives you a
better error.
