I know swish-e doesn't support multi-byte characters. So I thought I 
would create a filter which changes those into HTML entities before the 
index. But that doesn't seem to work either as libxml decodes them and 
then hands them off to swishe which can't handle them.

Now, I don't want to search on UTF-8 characters, just be able to pull 
out the description without it getting garbled. Any ideas?
