I just unpacked 2.4.4 on Win98 and didn't see the API.dll file.
The install log says API.dll was "Extracted" -- but doesn't tell me if
it was placed any place.

Just that little bit of work with Windows convinced me that 3pm on
Friday is a fine time to open a beer.
