error ‘No search words specified’ in -w foobar.*

!! Word character contains "." !!

And now,  both
swish-e.exe –w foobar.*
swish-e.exe –w (foobar.*)

Produce error "No search words specified"

, while

Swish-e.exe –w foobar.f*

works fine.

How can I search foobar.* ?
