Hello everybody,

i don't know if this has ever been done before, but i just copied an index
file to cd-rom and tried to search in that index.

Well, to say its slower wouldn't quite get it. A search which takes 2.4
seconds from harddisk takes 71 seconds from cd. (which is about 2800 percent
slower).

Anyone out there which can give me a hint what causes that behaviour?
