Yes, and no.

A few people have reported this lately -- maybe you saw those posts in
the list archive.

What I think happens is someone installed swish-e more than once and in
two different locations and then indexing and searching end up using
different swish-e libraries.

I think people have claimed that not to be the case, yet after
reinstalling swish things started to work.
