I was reading some of the docs online and came across this 3.0
wishlist (or as its titled "Proposed changes for Swish-e 3.0"),

I was _very_ surprised not to see "full/proper UTF-8 support for
indexing and searching" - was that left out intentionally ?

Can we expect to see UTF-8 indexing/searching anytime soon ?
