We have a number of internal newsgroups and I've been asked if SWISH-E
could be used to search them.

I know all of the necessary pieces exist in one form or other
(command-line nntp client and/or Perl NNTP:: modules, web interfaces
for newsgroups, etc...) but I wonder if anyone has experience trying to
pull all of this together?

I'm looking to implement my solution on GNU/Linux and am even willing
to run my own NNTP server if necessary.  Anyone have suggestions,
advice, pointers, hints, HOWTOs, etc... ?
