Use ldd to check SWISHE.so and see if it's linked against libperl.so (or
some perl).  Then use nm to make sure Perl_sv_2pv is defined there.

Then, use ldd on mod_perl.so (assuming your Apache is linked
dynamically) to see if it's linked with the *same* libperl.so.

My guess is that mod_perl is loading a different libperl.so than
SWISHE.so does.
