Sorry for the confusion. The %20 appears on the search result as shown:
1. 2002%20Analogy%20Numeric%20Order.pdf -- rank: 1000 last modified: 2003-05-16 13:58:00 PDT
... CLASS SCIF CLASS MINING MINING MINING MINING MINING
The actual filename is "2002 Analogy Numeric Order.pdf". Yes, if you do it in the command line, it also appears.

I guess I don't follow. Where is it showing %20? If you do a search from the command line
directly with swish-e does it display the %20 in the title?
