Re: Problems with SWISH-Stemmer on Windows

Hi Bill,

The makefile contains the following lines:

780: # --- MakeMaker pm_to_blib section:
782: pm_to_blib: $(TO_INST_PM)
783: 		@$(PERL) "-I$(INST_ARCHLIB)" "-I$(INST_LIB)" \
784: 		"-I$(PERL_ARCHLIB)" "-I$(PERL_LIB)" -MExtUtils::Install \
785:        	-e "pm_to_blib(qw[ <<pmfiles.dat
787: $(PM_TO_BLIB)
788: <<
789: 		@$(TOUCH) $@

Earlier in the makefile, PM_TO_BLIB is defined:

157: PM_TO_BLIB = \
158:		$(INST_LIBDIR)\

(Entire makefile is attached)

I've goofed around by editing the makefile to attempt to put and
$(INST_LIBDIR)\ on a single line.. But it still doesn't work.
I'm not sure what Makefile.PL is assuming my make understands that it

Thanks for your help.

The Makefile is created by Perl's MakeMaker. What do you see on line 787?
