I don't think that worked in 1.3.  How did you tell the spider to stop at
some point?  

I just tried with 1.3.2 and it says:

   Skipping http://foo.com/sample3.html:  Wrong method or server.



It was a bit of work, but I even compiled:

  > ./swish-e -V
  SWISH-E 1.2

And that results in:

  Skipping http://foo.com/sample3.html:  Wrong method or server.
