Have you looked at the new library API in SWISH-E 2.3-dev02?  For now,
libtest.c in SWISH-E CVS is probably the best documentation.

I suppose supporting SWISH-E 2.2 would be good.  But, there is a
noticable lack of functionality in the 2.2 library API.
