Is there a way to send a parameter to the -Sprog?  I would like to use
the same program for both incremental and full indexing.

Yes, it should.  But do it in your -S prog -- why send a document to
swish
if you know it shouldn't be indexed?  Swish has to flush the input
buffer
which means reading the content-length bytes from the input file handle.
