Oops, rereading the way I wrote that sounds like I was really annoyed and 
smarting off. I didn't intend that kind of tone, so please forgive if 
that's how it was interpreted.

What I meant to say was that the behavior didn't quite match what I 
expected to see based upon the examples.

We're really impressed with SWISH-E here, using it to index and search 
hundreds of thousands of documents. Very nice.
