Another point that I want to mention about  
swish 2.2 (really 2.1-dev-25) is that 
the -D option is not avaible for swish-e.
See the following command line and result:

# /usr/local/bin/swish-e -D tmp.index
err: Unknown switch '-D'.  Use -h for options.

Maybe I should not use swish version 2.2 (really 2.1-dev-25).
I've found some link for downloading swish for Compaq Unix server,
but either the URl link is broken or there is no version 2.2

The -D switch of swish-e works fine on Solaris Unxi server.
