Increasing the COALESCE_BUFFER_MAX_SIZE did get rid of the error.

But, I like Bill's solution much better.  Pointing to a 5 MB plain text
file is about useless, as Bill pointed out.  Breaking it into chunks
really shouldn't be too hard to implement.
