Hi,
I made a rapid check and now it seems that the long pathname problem has
been corrected!

Though, the "gzip" problem remains, I get errors like:
In dir "C:\Work\swishe\Documenti\RAPPORTI DI LAVORO E PREVIDENZA\":
  Check-up lavoro e previdenza.pdf'gzip' is not recognized as an internal or
external command,
operable program or batch file.
Error (27459): Couldn't execute 'gzip -d -q C:\TEMP\2.Z'

I'm still unable to pinpoint this, but I'll let you know...
