the question is simply:

you have a merged index-file : M.idx

which was merged this way: M.idx= if1.idx + if2.idx+...+ ifn.idx

Q1.) if one recreates(reindexes) ifx.idx

     what kind operation permits/effetcs a simply upgrade M.idx ?

     are there any existing simply solutions for this ?

Q2.) if one wants to subtract from M.idx the indexfile ifx.idx

     what kind operation permits/effetcs a simply upgrade  M.idx ?

     are there any existing simply solutions for this ?
