META - Trouble

Hi Group,

i've browsed the archive, i hope i didn't missed a already discussed thread
about that.

Heres what I've done:
Compiled Swish-e, Filesystem is Ok, but as there are no easy rules to allow
the Webmasters excluding files from beeing indexed i wanted to switch to
http-method. After getting mad about missing Perl-Modules, wrong
CPAN-Download-Paths ect and no Documention about it, spidering does just
indexed -1- File, the .../index.html. Ok, i applied the Patch for the
already known strcmp-Problems, but this, sadly, isnt solved:

<META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1">

this unusal Meta-Tag is the cause, sadly again, on every Site, produced by a
not changable Software. Is it perhaps caused by the double-presence of
"content", so the first, the false one is took as startposition and the
resulting CONTENT is defined as "-Type" or " CONTENT=" ? So i am not
Programmer enough to get through the sources, i hope someone finds the
solution. I struggled so long now, i do not want to switch to another
searchengine, i hope someone can help.
