Roy;

I've got a couple of patches here I thought I'd
send your way. They're a bit old at this point, but
it's not difficult to figure out where to
apply them.

The net result is that a new option, -s num-to-skip,
is added where num-to-skip is a number that tells
where to start in the search results. That is, "-s 100"
will cause swish-e to return results starting at
result listing number 101. Combined with the -m option,
it allows you easily implement a paging scheme for
the results.

I've found this useful at my site, and I've had enough
other people request it from me that I thought I'd submit
it to the swish-e team for possible inclusion in the source.

I haven't looked at swish-e 1.3 yet, so caveat emptor.
If my method looks like too much of a quick hack, then
I'll request that y'all consider putting similar functionality
in the next release.

Thanks,

Scott Schultz
