First, thanks to David Norris and Bert Hiddink for their help and 
suggestions.  I downloaded this morning the Windows NT swish-e binary 
provided by David Malkovsky and posted by Roy Tennant in:

	http://sunsite.Berkeley.EDU/SWISH-E/Ports/Windows/NTSwishE.zip

And I can vouch that this one works under MS Windows NT 4.0.  Thanks to
