Hi,

I've just installed and tested SWISH-E and it doesn't seem to
transform the vanilla ISO 8859-1 characters into plain ASCII
equivalent in the index (I don't use entities such as &eacute;
but plain characters such as é, it is OK because ISO 8859-1 is
HTML's standard character set but I would like it to be indexed
as e).

Is it planned to include such a feature for the next version?
